Alma 46:28

And now it came to pass that when Moroni had said these words, he went forth, and also sent forth in all the parts of the land where there were dissentions, and gathered together all the people which were desirous to maintain their liberty, to stand against Amalickiah, and those which had dissented, which were called Amalickiahites.

When Moroni said these words, he went out. He also sent men to all the parts of the land where there were fights. He gathered together all the people who wanted to keep their freedom. They would stand against Amalickiah and those who had left. They were called Amalickiahites.

After Moroni said these things, he sent word throughout the land wherever there were rebels, gathering everyone who wanted to defend their freedom and stand against Amalickiah and his followers, who were now called Amalickiahites.
