Alma 45:23

And now it came to pass that after Helaman and his brethren had appointed priests and teachers over the churches, that there arose a dissention among them, and they would not give heed to the words of Helaman and his brethren;

After Helaman and his brothers had chosen priests and teachers over the churches, some people started to fight among them. They would not listen to the words of Helaman and his brothers.

But soon after Helaman and his brothers appointed these leaders, conflict broke out. Some people refused to listen to Helaman and his brothers.
