Alma 45:12

yea, and this because they shall dwindle in unbelief, and fall into the works of darkness and lasciviousness, and all manner of iniquities; yea, I say unto you, that because they shall sin against so great light and knowledge; yea, I say unto you, that from that day, even the fourth generation shall not all pass away, before this great iniquity shall come;

“This will happen because they will stop believing and fall into darkness and bad behavior and all kinds of sins. I tell you this because they will sin against so much light and knowledge. I tell you that from that day, even the fourth generation will not all pass away before this great sin comes.”

“This will happen because they’ll sink into unbelief and turn to darkness, immorality, and every kind of evil. They’ll have been given so much light and knowledge—and they’ll sin against it. I’m telling you, within four generations of that day, this terrible destruction will come.”
