Alma 44:6

yea, and this is not all; I command you by all the desires which ye have for life, that ye deliver up your weapons of war unto us, and we will seek not your blood, but we will spare your lives, if ye will go your way, and come not again to war against us.

And that’s not all. I tell you because of your desire to live: Give us your weapons. We won’t kill you. We will let you live if you go away and don’t come back to fight us again.

“And there’s more. I’m commanding you—by your own desire to stay alive—hand over your weapons. Do that, and we won’t spill your blood. We’ll let you go if you promise never to make war against us again.”
