Alma 44:16

Now it came to pass that Zerahemnah was exceeding wroth, and he did stir up the remainder of his soldiers to anger, to contend more powerfully against the Nephites.

Zerahemnah was very angry. He made the rest of his soldiers angry too. They fought harder against the Nephites.

But Zerahemnah was enraged. He stirred up the rest of his soldiers, whipping them into a fury to fight the Nephites harder.
