Alma 43:40

And they were pursued by Lehi and his men, and they were driven by Lehi into the waters of Sidon; and they crossed the waters of Sidon. And Lehi retained his armies upon the bank of the river Sidon, that they should not cross.

Lehi and his men chased them. The Lamanites were driven into the river Sidon, and they crossed it. Lehi kept his armies on the bank of the river so they would not cross.

Lehi and his men chased them and drove them into the waters of Sidon. They crossed to the other side, and Lehi held his armies at the riverbank to stop them from crossing back.
