Alma 43:24

And it came to pass that the word of the Lord came unto Alma; and Alma informed the messengers of Moroni that the armies of the Lamanites were marching round about in the wilderness, that they might come over into the land of Manti, that they might commence an attack upon the more weak part of the people. And those messengers went and delivered the message unto Moroni.

The Lord’s word came to Alma. Alma told Moroni’s messengers that the Lamanite armies were marching around through the wilderness. They wanted to come into the land of Manti and attack the weaker part of the people. The messengers went and told this to Moroni.

The Lord spoke to Alma, and Alma told Moroni’s messengers that the Lamanite armies were circling through the wilderness to attack Manti from its weakest side. The messengers carried this news back to Moroni.
