Alma 41:9

And now behold, my son, do not risk one more offence against your God upon those points of doctrine, which ye hath hitherto risked to commit sin.

So my son, don’t sin against your God one more time because you misunderstood these teachings. You have already risked sinning because of this.

So don’t take one more risk offending God over these points of doctrine that have already led you to sin.
