Alma 41:3

1830 Edition

And it is requisite with the justice of God, that men should be judged according to their works; and if their works were good in this life, and the desires of their hearts were good, that they should also, at the last day, be restored unto that which is good;

Changes

And it is requisite with the justice of God, that men should be judged according to their works; and if their works were good in this life, and the desires of their hearts were good, that they should also, at the last day, be restored unto that which is good;.

Simple English

God is fair. So people must be judged by what they have done. If their actions were good in this life, and the things they wanted in their hearts were good, then on the last day they will get back good things.

Paraphrase

God’s justice requires that people be judged by their actions. If their works were good in this life and their hearts desired good, then in the end they’ll be restored to goodness.
