Alma 40:26

But behold, an awful death cometh upon the wicked; for they die as to things pertaining to things of righteousness; for they are unclean, and no unclean thing can inherit the Kingdom of God; but they are cast out, and consigned to partake of the fruits of their labors or their works, which have been evil; and they drink the dregs of a bitter cup.

But a terrible death comes to bad people. They die as to things that are right and good. They are not clean. No one who is not clean can go to God’s kingdom. They are thrown out. They get the results of their work. Their work has been evil. They drink from a bitter cup.

But an awful death comes to the wicked. They die as far as righteousness is concerned, because they’re unclean, and nothing unclean can inherit God’s kingdom. They’re cast out and forced to partake of the fruit of their own labor—the evil works they’ve done. They drink the dregs of a bitter cup.
