Alma 39:5

Know ye not, my son, that these things are an abomination in the sight of the Lord; yea, most abominable above all sins, save it be the shedding of innocent blood, or denying the Holy Ghost?

Don’t you know, my son, that these things are terrible to the Lord? They are the worst sins of all except for killing innocent people or rejecting the Holy Spirit.

Don’t you understand? These things are disgusting to God—more serious than almost any other sin except murder or denying the Holy Spirit.
