And now, it hath hitherto been wisdom in God, that these things should be preserved: for behold, they have enlarged the memory of this people, yea, and convinced many of the error of their ways, and brought them to the knowledge of their God, unto the salvation of their souls.

It has been God’s wisdom to keep these things safe. They have helped this people remember. They have shown many people their wrong ways. They have brought them to know God and to be saved.

Up until now, it’s been God’s wisdom to preserve these records. They’ve expanded our people’s memory, convinced many of the error of their ways, and brought them to know their God and be saved.
