And behold, it hath been prophesied by our fathers, that they should be kept and handed down from one generation to another, and be kept and preserved by the hand of the Lord, until they should go forth unto every nation, kindred, tongue and people, that they shall know of the mysteries contained thereon.

Simple English

Our ancestors said these records should be kept and passed down from parents to children. The Lord will keep them safe. They will go to every nation and every people. Then everyone will know the secrets written on them.

Our ancestors prophesied that these records would be handed down from one generation to the next, kept and preserved by the Lord’s hand, until they spread to every nation, tribe, language, and people—so everyone can discover the mysteries written on them.
