and thou didst hear me because of mine afflictions and my sincerity; and it is because of thy Son that thou hast been thus merciful unto me; therefore I will cry unto thee in all mine afflictions; for in thee is my joy; for thou hast turned thy judgments away from me, because of thy Son.

Simple English

You heard me because of my hard times and because I was honest. It is because of your Son that you have been so kind to me. So I will cry out to you in all my hard times. You are my joy. You have turned your punishment away from me because of your Son.

Paraphrase

‘You heard me because of my troubles and my sincerity. And it’s because of your Son that you’ve been so merciful to me. So I’ll cry out to you in all my troubles—because my joy is in you. You’ve turned your judgments away from me because of your Son.’”
