Alma 31:10

neither would they observe the performances of the church, to continue in prayer and supplication to God daily, that they might not enter into temptation;

They would not do the practices of the church. They did not pray to God every day. They did not ask God to keep them away from temptation.

They had abandoned the practice of daily prayer and worship, no longer asking God to keep them from temptation.
