Alma 30:17

And many more such things did he say unto them, telling them that there could be no atonement made for the sins of men, but every man fared in this life, according to the management of the creature; therefore every man prospered according to his genius, and that every man conquered according to his strength; and whatsoever a man did, was no crime.

He said many more things like this. He told them there could be no payment for people’s sins. He said everyone’s life in this world depended on how they handled things. Every person did well based on their smarts. Every person won based on their strength. Whatever a person did was not a crime.

He told them many more things like this—that there could be no atonement for sin, that everyone’s fate in life depended on their own management. People prospered according to their intelligence, conquered according to their strength. Whatever anyone did wasn’t a crime.
