Alma 30:13

O ye that are bound down under a foolish and a vain hope, why do ye yoke yourselves with such foolish things? Why do ye look for a Christ? For no man can know of any thing which is to come.

You are trapped by a foolish hope. Why do you hold on to such foolish things? Why do you look for a Christ? No one can know what will happen in the future.

“You’re trapped by a foolish, empty hope. Why would you chain yourselves to such nonsense? Why are you waiting for a Christ? No one can know what’s coming.”
