Alma 28:13

and thus we see how great the inequality of man is because of sin and transgression, and the power of the Devil, which comes by the cunning plans which he hath devised to ensnare the hearts of men;

And so we see how different people are because of sin and doing wrong. We see the power of the Devil. He uses clever plans to trap people’s hearts.

So you can see the vast difference between people because of sin and rebellion, and because of the devil’s power—the clever traps he sets to capture human hearts.
