Alma 27:15

And it came to pass that Ammon saith unto them, Behold, I and my brethren will go forth into the land of Zarahemla, and ye shall remain here until we return; and we will try the hearts of our brethren, whether they will that ye shall come into their land.

Ammon said to them, “My brothers and I will go into the land of Zarahemla. You stay here until we return. We will find out how our relatives feel. We will see if they want you to come into their land.”

Ammon told them, “My brothers and I will go ahead into Zarahemla. Wait here until we come back. We need to see how our people will respond—whether they’ll even let you come into their land.”
