Alma 22:26

And it came to pass that when the king saw that the people were pacified, he caused that Aaron and his brethren should stand forth in the midst of the multitude, and that they should preach the word unto them.

When the king saw that the people were calm, he made Aaron and his brothers stand in the middle of the crowd. They preached the word to them.

When the king saw the people had calmed down, he had Aaron and his brothers stand before the crowd and preach.
