Now the servants had seen the cause of the king’s fall, therefore they durst not lay their hands on Aaron and his brethren; and they plead with the queen, saying, Why commandest thou that we should slay these men, when behold, one of them is mightier than us all? Therefore we shall fall before them.

Simple English

The servants had seen what caused the king to fall. They did not dare to touch Aaron and his brothers. They begged the queen. They said: Why do you tell us to kill these men when one of them is stronger than us all? We will fall before them.

Paraphrase

But the servants had seen what really happened to the king, and they were too afraid to touch Aaron and his brothers. They pleaded with the queen: “Why do you want us to kill these men? One of them is stronger than all of us combined! We wouldn’t stand a chance.”
