Alma 21:12

And it came to pass that they saw that the people would harden their hearts; therefere they departed, and came over into the land of Middoni. And they did preach the word unto many, and few believed on the words which they taught.

They saw that the people’s hearts were getting stubborn. So they left and went to the land of Middoni. They taught God’s word to many people. But only a few believed what they taught.

When they realized the people were hardening their hearts, they moved on to the land of Middoni. They preached to many there, but only a few believed their message.
