Alma 21:10

And it came to pass that as he began to expound these things unto them, they were angry with him, and began to mock him; and they would not hear the words which he spake;

As he started explaining these things to them, they got angry at him. They began to make fun of him. They would not listen to what he said.

As he explained these things, they grew angry and began mocking him. They refused to listen to anything he said.
