Alma 20:23

Now the king, fearing that he should lose his life, said, If thou wilt spare me, I will grant unto thee whatsoever thou wilt ask, even to the half of the kingdom.

The king was afraid he would die. He said, “If you let me live, I will give you whatever you ask for. You can even have half of my kingdom.”

The king, terrified he was about to die, said, “If you spare me, I’ll give you whatever you ask—even half my kingdom.”
