Alma 20:13

And now when Lamoni had rehearsed unto him all these things, behold, to his astonishment, his father was angry with him, and saith, Lamoni, thou art going to deliver these Nephites, which are sons of a liar. Behold, he robbed our fathers; and now his children are also come amongst us, that they may, by their cunning and their lyings, deceive us, that they again may rob us of our property.

When Lamoni explained all these things, his father was angry with him. He said, “Lamoni, you are going to help these Nephites. They are sons of a liar. He stole from our fathers. Now his children have come to us too. They will trick us with their clever words and lies. Then they will steal from us again.”

When Lamoni finished explaining, his father was furious. “Lamoni! You’re going to rescue these Nephites, the sons of a liar? He robbed our ancestors, and now his children have come to deceive us with their cunning lies so they can rob us again!”
