yea, they were met on every hand, and slain, and driven, until they were scattered on the west, and on the north, until they had reached the wilderness, which was called Hermounts; and it was that part of the wilderness which was infested by wild and ravenous beasts.

They were attacked on all sides and killed and pushed back. They were scattered to the west and north until they got to the wilderness called Hermounts. This part of the wilderness had many wild and dangerous animals.

They were struck down on every side, scattered west and north until they reached the wilderness of Hermounts—a wild, dangerous region infested with ravenous beasts.
