Alma 2:30

And it came to pass that Alma, he being a man of God, being exercised with much faith, and he cried, saying, O Lord, have mercy and spare my life, that I may be an instrument in thy hands, to save and preserve this people.

Alma was a man of God with strong faith. He prayed: “Lord, please have mercy and save my life. I want to be a tool in your hands to save these people.”

Alma, a man of deep faith, cried out: “Lord, have mercy! Spare my life so I can be your instrument to save and protect this people.”
