Alma 2:25

and they are upon our brethren in that land; and they are fleeing before them with their flocks, and their wives, and their children, towards our city; and except we make haste, they obtain possession of our city; and our fathers, and our wives, and our children be slain.

“They are attacking our brothers in that land. Our brothers are running away with their animals and wives and children toward our city. If we don’t hurry, the enemies will take our city. Our fathers and wives and children will be killed.”

They’re attacking our people up there. Families are fleeing toward our city with their children and livestock. If we don’t move fast, they’ll take Zarahemla, and our fathers, wives, and children will be slaughtered.“
