Alma 17:36

But Ammon stood forth and began to cast stones at them with his sling; yea, with mighty power he did sling stones amongst them; and thus he slew a certain number of them, insomuch that they began to be astonished at his power; nevertheless they were angry because of the slain of their brethren, and they were determined that he should fall; therefore, seeing that they could not hit him with their stones, they came forth with clubs to slay him.

But Ammon stood there and started to throw stones at them with his sling. With great power, he threw stones at them. He killed some of them. They started to be amazed at his power. But they were angry because of their dead friends. They decided that he must die. When they saw they couldn’t hit him with their stones, they came at him with clubs to kill him.

But Ammon started slinging stones at them with tremendous force. He killed several of them. The survivors were stunned by his power, but they were furious about their dead friends and determined to bring him down. When they realized they couldn’t hit him with their stones, they rushed at him with clubs.
