And those men again stood to scatter their flocks; but Ammon saith unto his brethren, Encircle the flocks round about, that they flee not; and I go and contend with these men which do scatter our flocks.

Those men stood there again to scatter their flocks. But Ammon said to his friends: Circle around the flocks so they don’t run away. I will go and fight these men who are scattering our flocks.

But those troublemakers came back to scatter the flocks again. Ammon said to his companions, “Circle the flocks—don’t let them run off. I’m going to deal with these guys.”
