Alma 15:2

And they related unto them all that had happened unto their wives and children, and also concerning themselves, and of their power of deliverance.

The people told them everything that had happened to their wives and children. They also told what had happened to them and how they were saved.

These refugees told them what had happened to their families and how they themselves had barely escaped alive.
