And it came to pass that Alma and Amulek answered him nothing; and he smote them again, and delivered them to the officers to be cast into prison.

Alma and Amulek didn’t answer him at all. He hit them again and told the officers to put them in prison.

Alma and Amulek said nothing. So he struck them again and ordered his officers to throw them in prison.
