Alma 12:30

And they began from that time forth to call on his name; therefore God conversed with men, and made known unto them the plan of redemption, which had been prepared from the foundation of the world; and this he made known unto them, according to their faith and repentance, and their holy works;

From that time, people began to pray to him. God talked with people. He told them about his plan to save them. This plan had been ready since the world was made. He told them about it based on their faith and whether they turned from wrong and did good things.

“From that time on, people began to pray to him. God spoke with them and revealed the plan of redemption that had been prepared from the very beginning. He made it known to them according to their faith, their repentance, and their holy living.
