therefore the wicked remain as though there had been no redemption made, except it be the loosing of the bands of death; for behold, the day cometh that all shall rise from the dead and stand before God, and be judged according to their works.

“So bad people will stay as if no one saved them. The only thing that will change is that death will be broken. The day will come when all people will rise from the dead and stand before God. They will be judged by what they did.”

Paraphrase

“So the wicked stay as if no redemption had been made—except for the breaking of death’s grip. Because the day is coming when everyone will rise from the dead and stand before God and be judged by their works.”
