Alma 10:22

Yea, and I say unto you, that if it were not for the prayers of the righteous, which are now in the land, that ye would even now be visited with utter destruction; yet it would not be by flood, as were the people in the days of Noah, but it would be by famine, and by pestilence, and the sword.

“I tell you this. If it weren’t for the prayers of the good people in this land, you would be completely destroyed right now. It wouldn’t be by a flood like in Noah’s time. It would be by hunger, by disease, and by the sword.”

And I’m telling you—if it weren’t for the prayers of the righteous people still in this land, you’d already be facing complete destruction. Not by flood like in Noah’s day, but by starvation, disease, and war.
