And it came to pass that in this year there arose a people which was called the Nephites, and they were true believers in Christ; and among them there were they which was called by the Lamanites, Jacobites, and Josephites, and Zoramites;

And it came to pass that in this year there arose a people whicho wasere called the Nephites, and they were true believers in Christ; and among them there were thosey whicho wasere called by the Lamanites, —Jacobites, and Josephites, and Zoramites;

In this year, a group of people called themselves Nephites. They were true believers in Christ. Some of them were called Jacobites, Josephites, and Zoramites by the Lamanites.
