3 Nephi 9:5

And behold, that great city Moronihah have I covered with earth, and the inhabitants thereof, to hide their iniquities and their abominations from before my face, that the blood of the prophets and the saints shall not come up any more unto me against them.

“I covered the great city Moronihah with dirt. I covered the people too. This hid their sins and bad things from me. The blood of the prophets and good people will not cry out to me against them anymore.”

“I buried Moronihah—that great city—under earth, along with all its people, to hide their wickedness and corruption from my sight, so that the blood of the prophets and the faithful would no longer cry out to me against them.”
