3 Nephi 7:18

And it came to pass that they were angry with him, even because he had greater power than they, for it were not possible that they could disbelieve his words: for so great was his faith on the Lord Jesus Christ, that angels did minister unto him daily;

They were angry with him because he had greater power than they did. It was not possible for them to not believe his words. His faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was so great that angels came to him every day.

They grew angry with him because he had greater power than they did. They couldn’t disbelieve his words—it was impossible. His faith in the Lord Jesus Christ was so great that angels ministered to him daily.
