3 Nephi 5:3

therefore they did forsake all their sins, and their abominations, and their whoredoms, and did serve God with all diligence, day and night.

So they stopped all their sins. They served God day and night.

So they abandoned their sins—their wickedness, their unfaithfulness to God—and served him faithfully day and night.
