And they did rejoice and cry again with one voice, saying, May the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, protect this people in righteousness, so long as they shall call on the name of their God for protection.

They were happy and cried out together again. They said: “May the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob protect these people who do what is right, as long as they ask their God to protect them.”

Paraphrase

They celebrated and shouted together: “May the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob protect this people in righteousness, as long as they call on him for help.”
