3 Nephi 28:34

And wo be unto him that will not hearken unto the words of Jesus, and also to them which he hath chosen and sent among them: for whoso receiveth not the words of Jesus, and the words of them which he hath sent, receiveth not him; and therefore he will not receive them at the last day;

It will be terrible for anyone who will not listen to the words of Jesus. It will be terrible for those who will not listen to the people he has chosen and sent. If you do not accept the words of Jesus and the words of those he has sent, you do not accept him. He will not accept you on the last day.

Trouble awaits those who won’t listen to Jesus’ words or to the people he’s chosen and sent. Whoever rejects Jesus’ words and the words of those he’s sent rejects him. So he won’t receive them on the last day.
