3 Nephi 26:12

therefore I, Mormon, do write the things which have been commanded me of the Lord. And now I, Mormon, make an end of my sayings, and proceed to write the things which have been commanded me;

So I, Mormon, write the things the Lord told me to write. Now I, Mormon, am done with what I was saying. I will go on and write the things he told me to write.

So I, Mormon, am writing only what the Lord commanded me to write. That’s the end of my commentary. Now I’ll get back to writing what I was told to record.
