And I give you these commandments, because of the disputations which hath been among you beforetime. And blessed are ye if ye have no disputations among you.

“I give you these commandments because you have been arguing with each other before. God blesses you if you don’t argue with each other.”

Paraphrase

“I’m giving you these commands because of the arguing that’s been going on among you. You’re blessed if there’s no arguing among you.”
