And it came to pass as they understood, they cast their eyes up again towards Heaven, and behold, they saw a man descending out of Heaven; and he was clothed in a white robe, and he came down and stood in the midst of them, and the eyes of the whole multitude was turned upon him, and they durst not open their mouths, even one to another, and wist not what it meant: for they thought it was an angel that had appeared unto them.

Simple English

After they understood, they looked up again toward heaven. They saw a man coming down from heaven. He was dressed in a white robe. He came down and stood in front of them. Everyone looked at him. They did not dare open their mouths to speak to each other. They did not know what it meant. They thought it was an angel.

Paraphrase

As soon as they understood, they looked up again. And there, coming down from the sky, they saw a man dressed in a white robe. He descended and stood right in the middle of them. Everyone turned to look at him. No one dared speak—not even to whisper to the person next to them. They didn’t know what to think. They figured an angel had appeared to them.
