And it came to pass that in the ending of the thirty and fourth year, behold I will shew unto you that the people of Nephi which were spared, and also they which had been called Lamanites, which had been spared, did have great favors shewn unto them, and great blessings poured out upon their heads, insomuch that soon after the ascension of Christ into Heaven, he did truly manifest himself unto them,

And it came to pass that in the ending of the thirty and fourth year, behold, I will sheow unto you that the people of Nephi whicho were spared, and also thosey whicho had been called Lamanites, whicho had been spared, did have great favors sheown unto them, and great blessings poured out upon their heads, insomuch that soon after the ascension of Christ into Hheaven, he did truly manifest himself unto them,—

Simple English

At the end of the thirty-fourth year, something great happened. I will show you that the people of Nephi who were saved—and also those who had been called Lamanites who were saved—got great blessings from God. Soon after Christ went up to Heaven, he showed himself to them.

Paraphrase

As the thirty-fourth year ended, something remarkable happened to the Nephites who survived and to those who had been called Lamanites who also survived. God showed them extraordinary favor and poured out tremendous blessings on them. Soon after Christ ascended into heaven, he actually appeared to them.
