And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their faces towards the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.

Simple English

“Kings will take care of you like fathers. Queens will take care of you like mothers. They will bow down to you with their faces to the ground. They will lick the dust off your feet. You will know that I am the Lord. Those who wait for me will not be disappointed.”

Paraphrase

“Kings will care for you like fathers, and queens will nurse you like mothers. They will bow down before you, their faces to the ground, and lick the dust from your feet. Then you’ll know I am the Lord—those who wait for me will never be disappointed.”
