And I engravened that which is pleasing unto God. And if my people be pleased with the things of God, they be pleased with mine engravings which are upon these plates.

And I engravened that which is pleasing unto God. And if my people bare pleased with the things of God, they will be pleased with mine engravings which are upon these plates.

Simple English

I wrote what makes God happy. If my people like the things of God, they will like what I wrote on these plates.

Paraphrase

I engraved what pleases God. If my people care about the things of God, they’ll value what I’ve engraved on these plates.
