2 Nephi 4:34

O Lord, I have trusted in thee, and I will trust in thee forever. I will not put my trust in the arm of flesh; for I know that cursed is he that putteth his trust in the arm of flesh.—Yea, cursed is he that putteth his trust in man, or maketh flesh his arm.

O Lord, I have trusted in you. I will trust in you forever. I will not trust in people’s strength. I know that anyone who trusts in people’s strength is cursed. Anyone who trusts in people or makes people his strength is cursed.

“Lord, I’ve trusted in you, and I will trust in you forever. I won’t put my trust in human strength, because I know that anyone who trusts in human strength is cursed. Cursed is the one who trusts in people or makes mortal power his support.”
