2 Nephi 31:3

For my soul delighteth in plainness: for after this manner doth the Lord God work among the children of men. For the Lord God giveth light unto the understanding: for he speaketh unto men according to their language, unto their understanding.

I love speaking clearly. That’s how the Lord God works with people. The Lord God gives them light to understand. He speaks to people in ways they can understand.

I love plain talk. That’s how the Lord works with people. He gives light to our minds. He speaks to each person in their own language, in ways they can understand.
