Yea, and there shall be many which shall teach after this manner, false, and vain, and foolish doctrines, and shall be puffed up in their hearts, and shall seek deep to hide their counsels from the Lord; and their works shall be in the dark;

Many will teach this way. They teach false, empty, and foolish ideas. They are proud. They try hard to hide their plans from the Lord. Their actions happen in the dark.

Paraphrase

Many will teach these empty, foolish lies. They’ll be full of themselves, scheming in secret to hide their plans from the Lord. Their deeds will be done in darkness.
